Keychron K2v2 Modeling&Rendering
Visualization of the Keychron K2 v2 keyboard.
The Keychron brand design is indeed very attractive and unique. The typical penguin color palette of Keychron keyboards makes them stand out from dozens of other brands, making their product more recognizable.
K2 v2 has already become a respectable classic among other mechanical keyboards, so for this project, I was aiming for a more solid, adult, and fancy look. So I made keycaps dark and glossy because black and glossy things automatically feel strict and stylish :)
My inspiration for this project was mirror reflections and outer space. I tried not to overload the renders with unnecessary colors and objects while using reflections, rim light, and gradients so that the keyboard does not blend into the black background.
Visualizing black products on black background is a quite challenging process, but great for lighting study. I enjoyed working on this project a lot.
